As a Greenback client, we offer you complimentary extension filing services. If you're in the US, request an extension a few days before the April 15 deadline. If you reside outside the US, you have an automatic 2-month extension until June 15. If additional time is needed, you should inform your accountant to file an October 15 extension on your behalf.
Follow these steps to request an extension:
1. Log in to your Greenback Tax Companion Account.
2. Navigate to the "Account" section and select "Extension."
3. Click "Apply for an Extension."
4. Fill out and submit the form.
Your Greenback Accountant will process the extension and update the status on your extension portal within your Greenback Account.
